The Green Travel Guide eco-photo contest is now closed. We have had lots of remarkable photographs submitted from all over Canada and covering a wide range of ecotourism topics.
The winner will be announced on September 17th.
Sustainable tourism is a new concept in leisure. It incorporates all types of tourism that is economically, socially, culturally and environmentally responsible and sustainable. Impacts from sustainable tourism are not permanent or irreversible and do not damage the way of life of local people or harm the environment.
