Elliot Lake - Ontario
The northern Ontario city of Elliot Lake lies about half way between Sault Ste Marie and Sudbury, on on Highway 108. Established as a planned community in 1955 for the mining industry, Elliot Lake is still a thriving community and makes for an excellent base to explore the boreal forest and Canadian Sheild.
