Moose Jaw - Saskatchewan

Along the Trans Canada Highway just 75km west of Regina you will find the south western Saskatchewan town of Moose Jaw named after the Cree word "moosegaw" meaning "warm breezes". Known as "the friendly city", Moose Jaw offers plenty to keep visitors busy year-round.

The peace and tranquillity of this town can best be enjoyed through the many number of parks and urban green spots. Many of Moose Jaw's attractions revolve around its past including The Tunnels of Moose Jaw which run under the city and were used by bootleggers during prohibition, the Sukanen Ship Pioneer Village Museum, and Western Development Museum. More contemporary attractions include art galleries, outdoor activities and the Temple Garden Mineral Spa.
