Ottawa - Ontario

Canada's capital city. Ottawa sits on the south bank of the Ottawa River at the confluence of the Rideau River and canal. The government provides most of the employment in the city with many of the impressive gothic downtown buildings being occupied by many government offices and administrations.

The Parliament Buildings are virtually the only place you will see a Mountie in full dress uniform in Canada now. The city of Hull in Quebec sits on the other shore of the Ottawa River and just like everything in the Ottawa is within easy reach.
