Yoho National Park of Canada

This was an early established park, existing as such since 1886. the park is located in British Columbia, in the Rocky Mountains. It is also conveniently located near two other national parks: the Banff in the east and the Kootenay in the south. Yoho in Cree language is an expression of surprise. The main attraction of the park is the beautiful Takakkaw which amazes with the waterfall it creates at some point. The Canadian Rockies can also be climber during your stay in the Yoho National Park. The Burgess Shale is a rare collection of fossils, discovered in 1909. The wildflowers will offer you a great show as well. The park was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984.
