Pukaskwa National Park of Canada

The park is located in Ontario and was established in 1978, covering over 1800 square kilometers, being the largest national park in the region. The Pukaskwa National Park contains Lake Superior and a lot of boreal forests. The hiking trail along the shore of Lake Superior is one of the main attractions in this park. However, it is also pleasant to spend some more days in this lovely site, so camping amenities are available. The park is inhabited by Woodland caribous, black bears, moose, Canadian lynxes and grey wolves. There are also a number of rivers on which you can ride a boat or go canoeing: the Cascade River, the Pukaskwa River, the North Swallow River, the White River, the Pic River and others. The Tip Top Mountains receives also many climbers, being the highest peak in Ontario.
